"Rin... I have something for you," Sesshoumaru spoke as they were in bed, under the blanket naked, his back resting to the headboard as she was in his arms after they just made love.
"Something for me?" Rin said, lifting her face to look up at Sesshoumaru who was searching for something next to the bedside table.
He turned to her after he found what he's looking for. In his hand was a small box. Sesshoumaru then opened the box and her eyes widened as she saw what's inside it. A round flat silver ring was sitting perfectly in the ring box.
"I want you to have this," he said as he pulled it out and grabbed her right hand as he put it on her ring finger, "Always keep it on this place, okay?" He kissed her fingers and she blushes.
"You don't have to," She uttered shyly. She had never wanted anything except his love for her and he gave her lots of love that she couldn't count.
Sesshoumaru then gazed into her brown orbs, her face was red.
"Nope," he responded as he claimed her tempted lips. She muffled as he gently positions her back into the bed as he climbed on top of her small frame, fingers lacing together with hers. He then forced her mouth open as he put his tongue in.
"Umn," She moaned as he played with her tongue.
Sesshoumaru then placed his right hand on her cheek as he changed angles and deepened the kiss into a much more passionate one. After awhile he then withdrew, looking at her as she claimed her breath, looking all red on the cheeks. Her eyes were clouded with tears and the huffing sound as she panted faintly beneath him. His face tinted red slightly as he viewed his seductive angel. His loin was twitching as he stared at her bare chest. Her plump breasts were always so pleasant. It doesn't matter how many times he'd seen it, it never failed to amaze him how beautiful they were. And he loved them.
Sesshoumaru leaned to her neck, licked and sucked tenderly on her soft skin, drawing a pleasant moan out of her. As he moved down, still placing hot licking and kissing all the way down to her breasts, he was about to take one of her hard knots in his mouth when she suddenly squeaked. Surprised, he raised his face up and looked at her.
"What is it," he inquired. Why did she have to interrupt him when he was in the middle of something good.
"Something is buzzing on my back," answered Rin as her hand was searching for the source of the problem on her back.
She took out a buzzing cellphone and looked at the screen before she turned to Sesshoumaru.
"It's your mother,"
Sesshoumaru sighed in annoyance as he took the phone from her while getting out of the bed.
"You're not going to answer?" Asked Rin as she covered her breasts with the blanket.
"No," he replied as he picked his clothes from the floor.
Rin stared at him as he headed to the bathroom and heard the sound of the shower start running. She then noticed the flashing of her cell phone screen and extended her hand to get it. As she laid back in bed she went through her phone.
"What?!"
Holy crap, Rin was surprised by how many missed call she got. All of them were from her mother! Rin jumped off the bed and picked her clothes off the floor and started to dress in a mad way as she stormed out from Sesshoumaru's apartment while leaving only a note for him.
Rin sluggishly opened the door to their rundown apartment and was surprised when she heard the voice she was afraid to.
"Rin, stop seeing Sesshoumaru or they will give us trouble, didn't I already told you?"
Her eyes lowered down at her mother words. So she was caught. Although Rin was being very careful, her mother still knew.
"Yes..." answered Rin poorly to her mother.
Rin knew damn well why her mother always warned her. Sesshoumaru wasn't any average boy. His family owned all the big hotels in Japan which were rated as 5 stars and Sesshoumaru, the elder son, 24 years old, heir to the business and once his father retired he's going to take over.
They met when Sesshoumaru and his mother came to her Uni to expand business and how much they will pay if hired. Rin was 19 at the time and Sesshoumaru was 23. Sesshoumaru and Rin encountered each other a couple of times and later not just in the Uni anymore, even on the street they would accidentally meet and soon they fell in love with each other. He didn't care if she was a commoner, he loved her for who she is. The main reason why he loved her was that she wasn't like any other women who wanted possession only. She also loved him, she didn't care if he's wealthy or not. She loved him not his money.
His mother knew he was seeing someone. She did some digging to find out. But when she found out, she was shocked that her son was seeing a commoner who selled ramen from a ramen truck in the street with a single mother.
As Rin entered her room, her phone starts ringing. She pulled out to check the screen and answered with a smile.
"Yes?"
"Where are you? I came out from the shower and you were gone,"
Rin giggles, "Missed me already?" She teased.
"You know I can't live a single moment without you," Stated Sesshoumaru through the phone.
Her heart thumps and she blushed which Sesshoumaru knew in silence that she was caught off guard. Sesshoumaru smirked quietly.
"U-um..." She stammered and Sesshoumaru smiles to himself, "I left you a note, didn't I?"
Yep, Rin went and changed the subject and Sesshoumaru knew it was coming.
"Where?" Sesshoumaru asked, searching for the note.
"I left it on the table,"
"Oh, found it," As Sesshoumaru said that he went into silent, "'I have to go, bye?'" Said Sesshoumaru as he read it to her again.
"Huh?" Rin was now confused, "Of course, because I really have to go,"
Sesshoumaru was quiet before he spoke, "...Where is my 'I love you'?"
Rin was puzzled, her heart tightened but then recovered shortly after, "Don't you have to go to work?"
"Not until you tell me..." He was being stubborn.
She was silent and then opened her mouth embarrassingly, "I..." her heart pounded louder, "I love you," she finished almost as low as a whisper with eyes shut tightly and hung up abruptly.
Sesshoumaru looked at his phone as Rin hung up on him. He imagined her image and smirked successfully, "...I love you too," He gave his phone a kiss after he said that.
Sesshoumaru was now meeting with his mother at one of their hotels.
"Stop ignoring my calls. I know you were with her," His mother spoke firmly as she cut the meat on the plate and ate, "I want you to stop seeing her. A commoner like her is only after your money. She does not love you, Sesshoumaru."
Sesshoumaru was having a glass of wine as he listened to his mother nagging.
"If you knew then stop calling," Sesshoumaru also spoke flatly toward her, "And we have already discussed this before, Mother. Rin is not after my money."
"Sesshoumaru," She dropped her knife and fork on the table and wiped her mouth before she continued, "Someone like her isn't suitable for our family. How many times do I have to tell you so you will understand?" She looked at Sesshoumaru as she continued, "No matters what you do I will not accept the relationship between you two, keep this in mind. There's someone I know and she's the right image for our family. Next week, you will be meeting with her."
She stepped out as she finished explaining to him. He knew meeting with his mother would always mean those kind of things. Sesshoumaru was looking out of the window with his now empty mind. His mother was against his relationship with Rin then what about his father and does his father's second wife also oppose it? Why can't he date anyone he wanted? Why would they always put status first?
After a while, Sesshoumaru then stepped out of the hotel and pulled out his phone from his pocket and looked at the girl on his phone screen. It was a photo he secretly took when she was working, serving ramen to customers with a smile. Then he put it back in his pocket and headed to the company.
The next day, she secretly sneaks out of their rundown apartment and went to meet with Sesshoumaru. They have a little fun date as Sesshoumaru took the day off and took her to see a movie, went to the beach, to the zoo, and even to an amusement park. After that, Rin forced them to do rock-paper-scissors. The winner will be the one to pick the place they were going to eat. And yeah, Rin won so they went to have street food.
As they were eating and having fun like a normal couple, Sesshoumaru's mother's car went by and she saw them and looked at them in disgust. How could her son eat in such a place? Is the food even clean? If they were to be seen in such a place, what will happen to the company and their image?
She started to be concerned about the relationship between her son and Rin. It seemed like Sesshoumaru was only falling deeper and deeper with Rin. His mother thought maybe Rin has some motive? But even if Rin does, she cannot let them met anymore than they already have. She had to do something so Sesshoumaru will stop seeing her.
The next morning as Rin and her mother was about to drive their ramen truck to sell ramen they saw Sesshoumaru's mother walking toward them. She stopped as she kept some distance between them.
"I want you and your mother out of this apartment right now," she told them.
Rin's mother gasped, hand covering her mouth in disbelief as she staggered.
"W-what in the world..."
"Mother!" Rin supported her mother by the shoulder.
"Do not talk back to me," claimed Sesshoumaru's mother.
Rin couldn't believe either. Her heart was also sinking in shock. But why would Sesshoumaru's mother have the right to chased them out?
"I had already bought this place," She explained flatly as Rin listened confused, "This apartment is already under the name of the Inu Corp. Get out of here right now and do not let me see your face again." She turned and left as she was done.
"Oh, Rin..." Her mother voiced out weakly as she clings onto her arm, tears starting to gust out, "What have I always been telling you...?"
Rin was silent, fighting back her tears. It was her fault that they were being chased out now and her mother wasn't feeling well either for the past couple days. What are they going to do?
They went back inside and started to pack. After they were done packing, Rin called a truck. They left the rundown apartment that no one like to live except for poor people like them. Why would Sesshoumaru mother want a tiny rundown apartment like that?
As the truck left the small parking lot, Rin saw Sesshoumaru from the other side of the street. He was checking his watch as he waited for the street to clear up a little before he can cross. Then she remembered. He told her that he was coming to see her.
(Sesshoumaru!)
She could only shout his name in her head as the tears finally dropped from her eyes.
(Sesshoumaru!)
She loves him. She loves him so much that it hurts to see him not knowing where she went. Why did it have to be the two of them separating each other when there was a lot in the world. How could she ever bear to be apart from him? Gods weren't understanding the ache in her heart. She could only let her tears silently roll down her cheeks.
The truck dropped them off in the direction of XX and on the road of 00. They started to look for a place to stay for the night, but wherever they asked people won't let them rent. Rin started to worry as her mother started coughing and it's getting dark. Feeling hopeless, she wanted to cry like a baby. What are they going to do if they couldn't find a place to stay?
Like a miracle, there was a woman who was willing to rent Rin and her mother a small rundown house, much more like a garage T.T anyway. They gave her cash for the month and she left.
Rin sighed in relief as she helped her mother inside. The inside was very rundown but she didn't care. Better than no place to live at all.
The next early morning as Rin woke up she put on a white shirt and a blue jean. She used all her allowance for a taxi to take her to Sesshoumaru's place. She missed him so much that her heart aches for him since yesterday. But when she got to his place, it seemed like he had already moved out.
She stood at the door and a neighbor who always saw her when she came over spoke to her as he noticed her.
"Is that you, Rin?"
She tilted her head to the voice.
"Oh, Mr. Gaku... Did Sesshoumaru moved out?" She asked with her cheerful voice.
"Oh, yes, he moved out last night," he answered, "I heard his mother wanted him to live with her now,"
"Oh..."
That was her only response before she left. Her heart tightened, so she will never be able to see Sesshoumaru again? Does he miss her? Wasn't he the one who said he can't live a single moment without her? Were those just mere words?
She got home and it was afternoon already. She was just on time to see her mother collapse and she rushed to her side and helped her back inside. Since her mother was sick, Rin was out alone to do their little business, selling ramen alone in the street. She looked at a couple that was eating ramen at her stall as they were laughing together and having fun; she envied them deeply and she missed Sesshoumaru. He didn't call her either. What's going to happen to them and their love? Will it end? Rin was afraid to know.
Night approached and Rin was putting everything back into the ramen truck when she saw some businessmen chatting not that far from her. She looked closely and saw Sesshoumaru was among them, including his mother. They didn't seem to notice her. She looked at Sesshoumaru with a smile. She was happy to finally get a glimpse of him. As she watched them, she suddenly craved to be in his arms. Her heart stung again as she viewed her image. She was wearing her usual work clothing, no way would she dare to approach him. She could only gaze at him with longed expression.
She then turned back to her work and getting everything back into the truck. Then her hands slipped and a bowl fell to the ground. Rin gasped and picked the bowl up as she stared toward Sesshoumaru and the other. They were looking at her, even Sesshoumaru and his mother. Rin felt embarrassed as her cheeks burned and she hurriedly gets in her truck and drives away. Sesshoumaru was looking, but did he even know it was her? And his mother was having doubt. Maybe it was Rin. She was looking annoyingly as the truck drove out of sight.
As Sesshoumaru and his mother got home, she peeked at Sesshoumaru and looked like he didn't notice that it might be Rin. He just went to his room and shut himself in. Sesshoumaru's mother seemed to have a lot of things going on in her head as she sat on the sofa. What is she going to do if that was Rin? She thought she had paid every apartment near to not rent to them, yet what is Rin doing there; only some couple hours drive away? It won't be good if Sesshoumaru knew. She bit her nails irritatingly. She should have driven Rin all the way to the end of the Earth so they couldn't meet and Sesshoumaru will have the heart to learn and run his father's business as she wanted. She doesn't want to lose the business to Sesshoumaru's father's second wife's son. She will do anything to seal them apart.
As she was down in the living room, she heard Sesshoumaru's door open and close. She secretly went into her son's room and stole one of the Rin photos that he was keeping under his pillow. She left the house before Sesshoumaru came out from the shower and drove to meet with someone.
"I want you to look for this girl in the picture," She said as she handed the photo to the man, "Tell me once you know where she lives."
"Of course, Madam,"
She then paid him the amount and they went their own separate way.
Some days later, Rin was taking care of her sick mother in bed with a towel as Sesshoumaru's mother appeared from the open door.
"Looks like your mother isn't feeling well," She spoke as she came through the still open door and stops, "If you want money for your mother's medical treatment, I will give you the money,"
Rin stopped wiping her mother's sweat and bit her lips as she knew that voice. She had anxiety over her poor mother and now what? So it doesn't matter where she was, his mother would find her and drive her way. She knew she wasn't in their league, but she loves Sesshoumaru, why can't his mother see that? What did she want from a commoner like her? Is it wrong that she loves her son?
"Whatever you do, just make my son forget you," She continued strongly, "Don't let my son's future be wasted because of someone like you."
Rin listened with the heavy pain in her chest and the concerns of her sick mother. Her tears trailed gently down her face as she cried in silent while Sesshoumaru's mother watched her from behind. It was as if she was an enemy that was being chased. Is she still not happy for what she had done to her? Just what should she do so his mother will be satisfied. Just where is she going to live, which place will accept her so that she will not be followed anymore?
Rin sat on her bed when Sesshoumaru's mother left and looked at the ring that Sesshoumaru gave her. She recalled what Sesshoumaru's mother had told her.
"Don't let my son's future be wasted because of someone like you."
Tears kept falling as all kinds of memories she had with Sesshoumaru flashed back. She loves him so much and it hurts so much. Why can't anyone see her pain? Why must their love be forbidden? She wanted to complain to God. Why did God have them met if he knew they couldn't be together?
Rin cried all out that night and when morning came, she packed their stuff and took her mother out and moved from far away so that Sesshoumaru's mother would be happy. Even if her heart was to be broken, she was willing to surrender her fate to God so they will be satisfied.
The same morning as Rin packed her mother and her stuff, Sesshoumaru met with the person he paid to look for Rin whereabout.
Sesshoumaru sat, unsettled on his seat as he waited impatiently. Minutes went by and Sesshoumaru saw him walking toward him. He came to Sesshoumaru and placed Rin's photo on the table.
"I found this woman that you were looking for. Anyway, you can go and see for yourself. Here is the address," he handed Sesshoumaru the address and left.
Sesshoumaru looked at the address with his heart pounding in anticipating. So he finally found her. For sure this time, he won't let his mother do as she pleased anymore. He will take Rin far away, just the two of them so no one will get in between their love.
Sesshoumaru then left to look for the address. As he walked on the narrow street, he glanced side to side and as he made a round turn in the corner, he found it, but to his disappointment, the door was locked.
Sesshoumaru couldn't believe. He looked at the address again and again and again. His heart sank helplessly as he lost her once again and who knows how long will it take him to find her again. He wanted to cry out loud to Heaven. He cursed God for making them parted in the cruelest way. He cursed Heaven for not having the eyes for their love.
Two months have passed and Sesshoumaru was still not able to forget Rin. He was still searching for her endlessly.
Sesshoumaru and his mother were walking along the street after a meeting. He was now running the business smoothly by his father side so he can do as he pleases when he reached a certain age. He hated it that his mother thought that he was still a baby that's why she controlled him. He sighed and his mother looked at him. She noticed that Sesshoumaru was getting thinner for the past two months and it's not because of work, but because of someone.
"Sesshoumaru, have you not been able to forget her?" She asked as they walked side by side, "If she loves you like you thought, she wouldn't have left you."
Sesshoumaru turned to his mother and was about to say something when his eyes spot a figure not too far away as she was walking down the street. His heart thumped. She wasn't wearing commoner's clothes anymore. She wore a suit with a short skirt, revealing her creamy legs. Her hair was curled and down. She was holding a folder of paperwork. She also stopped as she saw him and his mother.
"Mother, please give me a second to speak with Rin," Sesshoumaru requested for his mother to leave them alone as they still have business unsettling.
She looked at Rin in shock and to her son before she left them alone. Sesshoumaru then walked to where Rin was. He couldn't believe that he has been searching for her for two months now and she was right there in the same city like him? Why didn't she called him? Why did she change her phone number? Did she not missed him like he missed her? Just what is she trying to do?
She looked on the ground and then at him. Her heart was pounding, she hasn't seen him in so long. Her heart aches as she noticed him getting thinner. She wanted to know why he was getting thinner, but she knew she has no right to. She then started to take a couple steps as he came to her.
"Rin," he said as he stopped and looked at her, "What happened to you? Where have you been to?"
She stood there silently and then turned to him.
"You don't love me anymore, is that it?"
Her brown orbs darting into his amber ones in pain. Her heart stung. Her mouth opened slightly and closed as she was about to reason back, but couldn't as she bites the inside of her lips. How could he say that to her? Doesn't he know how much she loves him and missed him for those two months? However, she couldn't say that she loves him out loud as she recalled what his mother told her long ago.
"Don't let my son's future be wasted because of someone like you."
"Whatever you do, just make my son forget you."
Her heart was in agony as she recalled those memories. She was about to cry. She wanted to tell him that she loves him more than anything. She loves him with all her heart. But she couldn't. She furrowed her brows in annoyance as she turned, starting to leave while swallowing back her tears in the process.
"Wait, Rin," Sesshoumaru stopped her by one arm, "Was it my mother?" He asked with emotion in his voice as he peered at her, "Please tell me! Is it because of my mother?!" He uttered louder as he grabbed both her arms and shook her slightly so she could wake up.
"It has nothing to do with your mother!" Rin tossed Sesshoumaru hands away irritated as she shouted back. She couldn't hold back anymore.
Sesshoumaru was taken aback by her actions.
"Love cannot be eaten!" Her voice shook as she continued harshly, "It's money... that's the most important!" She looked into his eyes as he did the same.
"I see," Sesshoumaru's voice shook at her declaration, "So it was like that," he looked at her with a painful expression, "I should have believed my mother's words long ago!" He yelled at her for falling into her trap and loving her dearly.
"Yes, you should!" Retorted Rin, "You're stupid...! Stupid to love me!"
She paused for a moment as they gazed into each other eyes with pain and the aching in their heart. Both of them were on the verge of crying.
"Enough," She ended it, tilting her face away, "Our problem had already ended."
Before she turned and walked away she looked into his amber eyes once more. He was on the verge of breaking down. He stood there lifeless after she cruelly told him. She didn't want to lie, but she has to. She didn't mean to spit lies either, but if it was for him to forget her as his mother wanted then she will not care.
Rin slowly turned from him and walked away. Tears fell from her eyes one after the other. She hugged herself as the tears continued to fall not glancing back. She wanted to let him know that she loves him so much and will forever. But she knew no matter how much she said she loves him, she could not have him. His mother was right. She wasn't meant for him. A commoner like her will not be able to support him. She will only tie him down. She hid in the corner and continued to cry. It's over. Everything is over. Goodbye her love.
Sesshoumaru was standing there with his heart also broken as tears also trailed down his cheeks for the first time. He loves her so much and yet she didn't even love him. He was stupid just like she said. He was fooled by her and being used. He thought she was different but she wasn't. She was the same as every woman who only went after money. Sesshoumaru collapsed with his back on the wall, he sat there and cried all out like her. It was a cruel fate that god let them meet. Why did God give them emotions to feel, to love, and to hurt?

Blind Faith
Chapter 1

"Umn," She moaned as he played with her tongue.
Sesshoumaru then placed his right hand on her cheek as he changed angles and deepened the kiss into a much more passionate one.
